Description
Like many of the late 90s best, most of the construction is bathed in white neutrals. More “Grape Ice” notes pour over the interior liners, heel’s suede panels, mid-foot stripes and throat overlays. The eponymous “Comet Red” hue is used sparingly, but is summoned to fill in the tongue’s Air Max lettering, the side Swooshes’ borders and the Nike checks embroidered onto the lower throat and near the ankle. Affixed to the heels is a debossed “MAX” notation that is completely swathed in a muted grey.
