Description
This Space Hippie 03 features a woven sock-like upper that is made of at least 45% recycled material by weight. From first glance, the pair appears in its usual makeup. However, upon closer inspection, details like the “Volt” straps and overlays, along with the speckled “Healing Jade” midsole. High-cut sock uppers are made almost entirely of a gray knit material called rPoly, a variation of Nike‘s Flyknit tech that’s constructed of recycled plastic bottles plus T-shirt and yarn scraps. A midfoot strap is held together by a plastic clip on the mid-panel atop a Crater Foam sole to complete the design.
