Special callouts for the celebration are spotted on the tongue tags and diamond-etched lace dubraes completed with Lakers-branded heels. The eyestays, inner lining, heel tab and outsole are constructed in a baby blue swatch. To cap off the design, the NBA’s 75th-anniversary logo embellishes the top of the tongue while the Lakers’ logo decorates the heel tab. As a subtle nod to the classic jerseys, the iteration features hues of purple on the lateral sides and medial Nike Checks. Finally, to round out a more general celebration of the NBA, pack-exclusive insignia outfits the tongue.
