Originally surfacing on the SB Dunk back in 2005, the theme is a reference to a fictional 1970s ABA franchise imagined by a 2002 Nike ad campaign, the Roswell Rayguns, which is one of the brand’s most memorable mock-ups alongside Charlie Murphy’s Lero Smith, and Michael Jordan’s Johnny Kilroy. Influenced from the squad’s away uniforms, this upcoming iteration is executed with that of smooth white leathers on the forefoot, and complemented with “Orange Flash” overlays latched onto the heels with satin finishes. Raygun insignias are still placed atop the lateral heels, but this variation solely uses the alien-colored basketball head logo instead of the traditional full body silhouette. Dressed in a White, Black, Orange Flash, and Amarillo color scheme. This Nike Air Force 1 Low features a White leather upper with Orange and Yellow textile overlays. White leather lands on the base while Orange and Yellow textile appear on the overlays. The alien basketball hits adorn the heel along with “Rayguns” across the left insole.
