Parading the flags far more subtly than past offerings, the model relegates its colorful details to its branding and stitch. The Nike Space Hippie 04 features is made of at least 25% recycled material by weight, which is the lightest model from the collection and also has the lowest carbon footprint. The Swoosh, for instance, sets the stage with threads of red, blue, and yellow, while the “Nike” text along the heel amplifies its voice in more rainbow-esque fashion. Elsewhere, the upper is toned down in a light grey and the sole displays its scraps against a baby blue backdrop. Additional details includes rainbow stitching and embroidered heel branding atop its signature Crater Foam midsole.
