The Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” was used as inspiration behind Eric Koston’s latest Nike SB collaboration late 2019, and now the classic color blocking is returning for a general release. This Spring 2020 release features a white leather mid-panel and toe. Baby blue leather overlays on the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel provide contrasting against the neutral base. A University Blue leather Swoosh is found on each side, and a white embroidered Wings logo graces the heel. Starting at the top of the shoe is a clean white satin tongue, embellished with a blue Jumpman logo. Wrapping around the upper leather collars and moving along the edge of the eyelet panels are bright “Carolina Blue” accents, complemented by matching color laces. The sidewalls see a bold Swoosh logo, juxtaposed by Jordan Brand’s classic winged logo emblazoned at the heel counter. Other nuances like the “23” ripstop at the laces and perforations at the toe box round up the details of the uppers, while the crisp two-toned midsole completes the sneaker’s design.
