Historically, the design has been less hesitant to experiment than the tallest Air Jordan 1, donning everything from disco ball-inspired paneling to color palettes outside of Michael Jordan’s basketball legacy and personal life. This offering of the mid-top Air Jordan 1 features a light denim upper paired with Red suede overlays, tongues, and laces. There’s also brown detailing on the lateral collar’s ball-and-wings logo and the red nylon tongue’s Air Jordan hit. Down below, white midsoles and gum outsoles finalize the style. Other notable omissions include the metallic gold eyestays, heel Jumpman, and jelly Wings logo — the latter replaced by a debossed finish in a golden hue.
