A classic returns for the summer in a variety of old and new flavors. This Nike Cortez is inspired by Oregon and features a clean nylon upper with alternating suede panels, a Gorge Green swoosh and Nike branding on the tongue and at the rear. Released in 2017, the “Oregon” edition features the Roman numeral “XLV” on the insole, denoting 45 years since the debut of the original Cortez runner, as well as 1972 and 2017 inside the tongues.
